“Although my close and immediate family is based in Sierra Leone, I was not heavily involved in the African continent until last year following my internship with the Central Bank of Sierra Leone. The experience was a big eye opener in terms how much Sierra Leone has progressed as a country and made me realise that there is absolutely no room for regression. The time is now for Africa, it is time for sustainable and inclusive growth, positive equity and trade flows.
I am definitely interested and open to working in any part of Africa particularly in the economic development field.
I think UAD should look to recruit and provide employment for members of the diaspora who are passionate and aspiring to be involved with the organisation and essentially work on the bigger picture which is to be positive ambassadors for the continent abroad.”
